A Penthouse with a sophisticated and young atmosphere, a functional and emotional success.
Our clients, the owners of this two-level, five bedroom duplex penthouse in Dubai, wanted their home to reflect their young, fresh personalities with ample space to entertain and suitably display their extensive collection of modern art. We conducted a full interior architecture review, then redesigned the living areas to create private and public areas; cosy rooms that open up into larger spaces for parties and entertaining.

Customized solutions from the architectural study to the decoration make the penthouse a functional and emotional success. Art, originality and livability of the house are the key elements that make the duplex penthouse overlooking the Dubai Marina exclusive. The penthouse is designed to accommodate guests at the many parties organized by the owners of the house so the study of the open space with partition solution is a winning result since the initial phase of interior design.

Lighting was an important part of the design, with concealed lights in the ceiling to carefully highlight the clients’ many art pieces, and additional areas created to accommodate any new anticipated art purchases in the future. Our colour palette was inspired by the art pieces themselves. Earth tones were combined with strong accent colours reflected on both the ceilings and walls to add contrast. Materials include Italian natural stone and walnut wood flooring with soft furnishings from Rubelli and furniture from Minotti, B&B Italia and Hacker for the kitchen.
