A building of the 21st century - an urban landmark

Right in the heart of the Alpine metropolis, the ARGE Strolz + Dietrich | Haus der Musik Innsbruck, designed by Untertrifaller, is the center of the cultural quarter: a modern and lively home for institutions in the fields of music and theater.

The building stands in a unique location at one of the most important interfaces in the urban fabric and, together with the Tyrolean State Theater, forms the urban landscape between the Hofgarten, Hofburg, Hofkirche and the historical facade of the Folk Art Museum and the former university.

A modern and lively house

An open house that spans generations and genres; the Haus der Musik Innsbruck offers cultural offers from the independent scene to established high culture for a wide range of audiences; Repertoire boundaries are overcome and neither traditional nor new and experimental are spared. A lively meeting place.

An overall concept - a strong symbol

Diverse space offers for a wide variety of requirements offer optimal conditions. In addition, the house invites you to come and linger, be it in the event halls and foyers, the library or in the restaurant. The versatile halls, with the best acoustics, the latest technology and a generous feel-good factor, make Haus der Musik Innsbruck a popular venue for internationally known musicians and performers. With its education and mediation program, barriers are broken down and different classes of audience are addressed.

Nine permanent tenants and users, events by Innsbruck and Tyrolean institutions and own events enliven the new cultural location and make the Haus der Musik Innsbruck as the center of the new cultural quarter an indispensable milestone in the Tyrolean cultural landscape. And beyond the borders.
