Kaldewei installs Meisterstücke at Schloss Elmau Retreat Hotel premiere for designer baths with enamelled panelling

The world famous Hotel SchlossElmau in the Bavarian Alps has expanded with the opening of the “SchlossElmau Retreat – Luxury Suites & Spa”. The 5-star superior property has now been enhanced with 47 spacious suites with bathrooms containing a very special highlight: SchlossElmau Retreat is the first hotel worldwide to feature Kaldewei Meisterstücke baths. These bathtubs with enamelled panelling – both freestanding and the recessed version with double-sided panelling – are of unparalleled comfort and have received numerous awards for their ground-breaking design. They are, moreover, made entirely of the highest quality Kaldewei steel enamel. Leading heads of state will be able to test this extraordinary Kaldewei quality for themselves when they meet at the beginning of June at the new SchlossElmau Retreat for the G7 summit.

The “SchlossElmau” name stands for a unique hotel experience: offering a balanced mix of luxury and comfort, first-class spa treatments, and superb cultural and culinary choices, coupled with high-end architecture. This long-standing schloss hotel provides a harmonious combination of reenergising and inspiration. It comes as no surprise that this member of the “Leading Hotels of the World” has been recognised many times as one of the world’s best hotels.

SchlossElmau has opened a further property – situated in a peaceful valley with a spectacular view of the mountains – and now offers two 5-star superior hotels in one. Guests at the SchlossElmau Retreat can enjoy 47 suites of up to 200 square metres, spacious terraces, three restaurants, a library and a lounge with open fireplaces, as well as a 2,000squaremetre spa.

The bathroom: the ultimate in luxury and comfort With an area of up to 24 square metres, the bathrooms in the new suites are extra spacious and feature an exclusive fit-out. “In choosing our partners to furnish the SchlossElmau Retreat, apart from reliability we set great store by timeless aesthetics and the perfect functionality of the products,” explains Dietmar Müller-Elmau, Managing Director of SchlossElmau GmbH & Co. KG. Highest quality was therefore also a must for the bathrooms of the SchlossElmau Retreat. The freestanding Kaldewei Meisterstück Centro Duo Oval and the Kaldewei Meisterstück Centro Duo with double-sided panelling for recessed installation, are the ultimate choices for ensuring extraordinary bathing pleasure.

With the Kaldewei Meisterstücke the premium manufacturer presents a new generation of high-end designer bathtubs seamlessly made of a single material. Both the bathtub and the panelling are made entirely of exquisite Kaldewei steel enamel and meet the highest standards both aesthetically and with regard to longevity and ease of care. Thanks to their timeless design and the exceptional properties of Kaldewei steel enamel, the Meisterstücke areparticularly highly recommended for luxurious hotel bathrooms such as those at the SchlossElmau Retreat. Freestanding in the room, the Kaldewei Meisterstücke not only make the bathtub into the centre-piece of the bathroom architecture but they also accentuate the importance of a relaxing bath for guests. Offering unparalleled design and material quality, Kaldewei is the ideal partner for international hotels – both for privately-run luxury properties and for prestigious hotel chains.
