I Gradoni - Contemporary Tavern

manuarino architettura design comunicazione as Architects

A long and narrow basement space, formerly used as a storage room, becomes a convivial environment to celebrate sharing and good food. A private space but also a landmark of a winery, I gGradoni, which was recently born on the territory of Monte di Procida. In one large open space there is an entrance hall, bathroom and coat room, kitchen, dining, and relaxation area with fireplace. All permeated with a rustic, textural but at the same time elegant atmosphere.

A great space for partying!
Totally bespoke, the joinery was made of iroko-stained oak, on a gray stone-effect porcelain tile floor. Excellent appliances hint that it's serious business at the stove here. The custom-made table, based on an unprecedented design by studio manuarino, consists of three black-painted metal bases supporting a solid wood top measuring 1 meter by 3.6 meters in length.

The lava stone fireplace closes the sequence and sanctions the relaxation area, evidently very suitable for a good drink during winter evenings or during the Christmas holidays.
