The project had a precise brief: to design a contemporary yet eclectic restaurant, which would still be relatable to the parent brand. Set amidst Dubai Mall's buzzing atmosphere, the restaurant was to serve as an easy respite to the diners. We had to design a restaurant that could double up as a place to lounge too. The ambience was to be smart, stylish and lux.
Focusing on the requirements of the interior designer, the work was planned in zones. A small reception, the sit-down dining areas, the bar and the couch seating booths were planned keeping in mind the design, décor and multiple function of the space.
Every furniture and detail was customized or carefully sourced for the restaurant. The criss-cross wooden lattice on the walls was assembled piece by piece. The wicker chandeliers suspended from the ceiling, are a part of the focal decorative lighting whilst for general lighting, exposed bulbs have been used. The overall look of the space is rugged with leather, wood and metal being used cohesively.
