Renovation and conversion of the original rhinoceros wing from the 1939 Rivièra Hall at the Rotterdam Zoo Blijdorp. The complex was originally designed by Architect Sybold van Ravesteyn and has been designated as a National Cultural Heritage Monument. After thorough historical and color technical research, the original parts have been cleaned and restored. Besides that, new elements to better navigate and make use of natural daylight, added in a more contemporary style.
