A huge, luminous sphere of an intense red color, split in two identical halves. Each half is caged within a metal structure built with the kind of scaffolding commonly used in construction.  Ruben PB Viewers can traverse the space between the two halves, immersing in a light-filled corridor, and effectively becoming part of the artwork itself. Ruben PB This metaphor of our planet aims to shed light upon the significance of the relations between the earth’s dwellers. At the core of the project lays the idea that, if differences would be understood not as separation but as complementarity, mutual rejection could be more easily laid aside, and the qualities of one element would emphasize those of the other. Ruben PB... More

Light is essential to support life on Our Planet. Forests, woods, parks, trees and bushes all require light for their metabolic processes which are at the base of the Life on Earth. In the recent years reforestation has been one of the most crucial topic about the mitigation of Climate Change effects; the same attention must be given to the existing forests. Render by Imperfct* A stressed plant doesn’t work as it should; too much stress can lead to permanent damage or even to the death of the tree. To carry out the global plan of carbon sequestration from the atmosphere we need to heal and support the existing Flora. STARS is an installation that aims to boost and reinvigorate urban landscapes, like forests and city parks. A... More

Perceived Space

One:  The cylinder is an unbroken space within an airspace that already exists. The cylinder slips through door frames encompassing pieces of two seperate gallery spaces and an external hallway. Though typically separate spaces, the cylinder links them together, creating one continuous, private, yet well connected, open space.  Rion Philbin Two: The bench is a continuous volume, intersecting walls and dividing rooms, yet simultaneously suggesting not smaller bisected spaces, but one larger, continuous space. The volume then continues up into the ceiling, as a playful suggestion to infinity.  Rion Philbin Three:  With a clear beginning and end, the line wanders in and out of the building, across streets, an... Visible light seemed to be pure, colourless and indivisible, but after the 17th century when Isaac Newton dissembled it through a prism, we have discovered that it is made by an infinite array of beautiful colors. So, is the Humankind! Every person is unique, every individual is a single shade in the full display of color that we call humanity. Is it possible to create an installation that celebrates people uniqueness while laying the foundation for an inclusive society of tomorrow? New York City will be the stage of a massive urban-land-art event for which the scenography is already set in place. SPECTRUM, requires that each screen and billboard of Time Square displays a single monochrome color, creating an ever-changing composition, s... More

CO2morrow is a reactive sculpture, first shown at the Royal Academy of Arts in London as a part of the show, “Earth: Art of a Changing World” in 2009. Inspired by Timothy Morton’s idea of the hyperobject, CO2morrow approaches climate change as an issue of consciousness. The sculpture is created almost entirely out of carbon fiber and is modeled after a scrubber molecule that takes CO2 out of the air, based on research by chemist Omar Yaghi. The sculpture is also covered in LED lights that react in real time to data received from a network of sensing technologies in the United Kingdom. During the project, the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, who were helping Lutyens and his team collect data, were hac... More

Flowing Water

This is an experience space that defines the new height, new trend and new future of cultural and creative products; this is an exhibition retail space from the perspective of contemporary art; this is an exploration space that combines Chinese humanistic aesthetics with modern design forms; this is an educational space that drives cultural development and spreads the values of the times. With the theme of "flowing water", the space subtly takes in the natural scenery and the beauty of water in ancient landscape paintings, and uses traditional humanities to awaken the creativity of people nowadays, injecting the soul into the design. The vertical use of "superimposed water", between high and low, increases the realm of "walking to the end... More

Cloud Hut

I've always wanted to do a piece called "Clouds in my hometown", a wish for many years, so I came up with this seemingly long name, because it's a prelude. In the big Hakka house of "Dawanshiju", in this year of Gengzi, I think everyone talking about this year should have a lot of emotions. At this time, we are calling for the "truth" in our hearts, the "true purity" that comes from our hometown. In such a vibrant immigrant city, we have the right to make other hometowns as hometowns, we meet in other places are the guests. "Cloud hut" is through the hometown floating a cloud, looking up to the sky, looking up to the sky of the Gengzi year, the sky is still in the global pandemic. We hope there is a piece of this "hometown cloud" to cover... More

Clouds and Grass

"Duoyun. Xingcao" quotes Mr. Dongpo's "cloud" as the keynote of the context, and then disappears and then disappears-"forgetful and forgetful", abstracting an organic modern free form, pouring down from above, directly surging Enter the huge still water "Ink Pond" like an inkstone below. The overall installation is like a frozen calligraphy scene, just like the last stroke of a calligraphy. Suddenly stopped like eternity, I think this is a humanistic momentary freeze, the end of one stage, and the beginning of the next. Yes! "Duo Yunxuan" a hundred years in a flash! ... The materials used must be extremely thin, so as to express the introverted beauty of Chinese calligraphy aesthetics that is soft and rigid. The seemingly weak organic form... More

“Patriotism is an ephemeral motive that scarcely ever outlasts the particular threat to society that aroused it.”— Denis Diderot FALSE FLAG America was founded as an empire. George Washington called it an “infant empire.” Now the country lies in shambles. Mislead by a dysfunctional government, scarred by the inept handling of a pandemic which has run rampant (167,000 deaths and counting), a record number of unemployed citizens, collapsed businesses, a widening wealth gap, looming environmental catastrophes, and disenfranchised minorities of all colors, creeds and sexual orientations. The “American Dream” is officially now over. A false flag operation is an act committed with the intent of disguis... More

Black Swans

“First, it is an outlier, as it lies outside the realm of regular expectations, because nothing in the past can convincingly point to its possibility. Second, it carries an extreme 'impact.' Third, in spite of its outlier status, human nature makes us concoct explanations for its occurrence after the fact, making it explainable and predictable."— Nassim Nicholas Taleb, The Black Swan Black Swans The phrase "black swan" derives from a Latin expression; its oldest known occurrence is from the 2nd-century Roman poet Juvenal's characterization in his Satire VI of something being "rara avis in terris nigroque simillima cygno" ("a rare bird in the lands and very much like a black swan"). When the phrase was coined, the black swan wa... More

The Fall

In order to satisfy the requirement of a common platform for the outsiders and users of the co working space, THE FALL is an amphitheatre designed in between a large courtyard of the premises. The installation was envisioned to be a backdrop having its own form like a sculpture. Following the language of the project, the design is an evolution of parallel lines. Bending as of a hand, each vertical plate consistently carried the elegance of the structure. It also manifests the concept of co working, multiple vertical members portraying multiple hands. As the courtyard also encompasses working arena and café within a garden, the installation fulfils the need to act as a visual barrier for the amphitheatre. The notion does justice with... More
