28 Stanley [28SS] is a 31-floor building located right in the heart of Central, Hong Kong.  Classified as a “Grade A” building, the highest rating of aesthetics and functionality, the architecture is perfect for prestigious offices & fine-dining restaurants. The lighting director chose silicone encapsulated Flexglo™ F23 LED lights to light up the facade. Caption Small F23 light strip are fitted along a number of parallel lines to make the dynamic yet uneven facade to pop out in the bustling central business district of Hong Kong. The various illuminated long lines make a great adoration to the skyline. More

Phase II Development of Oil Street Art Space

The project includes the development of an additional two-storey exhibition block and outdoor activity spaces next to a Grade 2 Historic Building in the Eastern District of Hong Kong. The building, built in 1908, is the former Clubhouse of Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, currently used by the Art Promotion Office as an Art Space named as “Oi!”.  Caption   Situated in a dense urban area, the Art Space is a precious breathing space in the city. Herzog & de Meuron tap into infrastructural challenges to turn M+ into desired industrial museum

The main challenge for Herzog & de Meuron was how to fulfill the client’s desire for an ‘industrial’ building on a tabula rasa site. To overcome this they tapped into another challenge for the reclaimed land site, the underground tunnel of the Airport Express that runs underneath. They excavated the leftover space around the tunnel and linked the underground spatially and structurally to the museum tower that sits on top. Yíshè at Atrium House

Nestled near the village of Lung Tin Tsuen, Atrium House blends heritage and modernity in the context of Yuen Long. The design reimagines Chinese vernacular architecture to derive a new archetype for shared living. Set along a rare twin-cove coastline with sweeping sea views, the property’s setting brings to mind beachfront locations on the American east coast, such as Amagansett on Long Island. To capture this spirit, the studio crafted a home that celebrates its connection to the picturesque surroundings. The design focused on creating the intimate and relaxed vibe, while offering the luxury of a contemporary city residence.
