Luxury Classic Hall Design

Palace interiors have captivated visitors for years due to its richness of design, gorgeous furnishings, and famous components. A stunning example is Modenese Luxury Interiors' grand traditional décor of a rural home hall. Caption Everything in this hall interior design is built into a logical ornamental sequence and executes the selected single compositional notion. The classic-style hall was constructed with the upper levels' ornamentation in mind. Only in this situation can the house's center emphasis be formed, around which an exclusive and prestige interior is developed, where the colors compliment one other and the lines flow easily from one to the other. The palace chandelier's circular shape is accented by a magnificent... More

Ochre House

Ochre House is a two-story residence situated in the heart of Mexico City that combines modern elements with touches of rustic design to create an exquisite balance. Rafael Gamo This house was built for a family of five, and as such, every space caters for the needs of each of them. Since the property is bordered on two sides by a large slope, the house was distanced as much as possible from it with an orchard to obtain the best possible views. Rafael Gamo The house is designed so that sunlight pours in from two directions in a way that natural light itself contains the space. The large, mullioned windows imbue the surroundings with a classic touch create a cozy ambience along with the bespoke furniture and oak-wood floors and c... More

Serenity

William MacCollum   The desert is open space and long views, but also the close-up, detailed perfection of the cactus flower. It is nature’s serene minimalism. This is the setting for our project inside the gated community of The Vintage in Indian Wells, California. This project involved deep creative collaboration with the clients, who partnered with architect Marc Whipple and the W^R team on every aspect of the interior design, and personally curated or co-designed each of the many art pieces throughout the house. With a passion for racing and cars, and also for collecting fine wines, the program was going to include dazzling and innovative displays that would be both highly visible and striking artistic statements. Bundy Drive

Simon Berlyn   Design for Resort Style Living Our three-acre Bundy Drive project, completed in collaboration with Ramtin Ray Nosrati at Huntington Estates Properties, is certainly brimming with entertainment and the desirable amenities that bring resort living home. All this requires a large house, so our design goal, once again, is to maintain a human connection despite a broad canvas. We create visual connections between multiple levels, and even across large volumes, so people won’t find themselves cut off in a dark hallway. Simon Berlyn Simon Berlyn By creating view corridors, we assure that when you come around a corner there is something to draw you in, always a window with a view, a piece of art o... More

Flinders Residence

Lavishly endowed with glowing Australian timber and limestone, this home has a robust but luxe materials palette "from the earth", says Abe McCarthy of Abe McCarthy Architects. Abe collaborated with interior designer Alice Villella of AV-ID, custom builders Gstruct Group and landscaper Barber Design to establish this warm, inviting family home embedded in open pastures on the Mornington Peninsula.WHAT WAS THE CLIENT’S BRIEF?Abe McCarthy: We had worked with our client, a couple with a growing family, on two prior residential renovations. The essence of the idea of a dream home for them, a new build on the Flinders site, was conceived some years ago. Work began on an initial concept in 2013 to a brief centred on the creation of a family... More

Annandale House

'Baldwin & Bagnall explore light and scale in the contemporary refresh of a renovated terrace in Sydney’s inner-western suburb of Annandale. Heath Baldwin & Hayden Bagnall are the names behind Baldwin & Bagnall, a Sydney-based multi-disciplinary design practice specialising in bespoke interiors. They were the ideal candidates for taking on the Annandale House; last renovated in the 1980s, lacking in access to natural light and an adequate floorplan. Approached by the client with a clear vision for a modern and comfortable interior, Baldwin & Bagnall needed to demolish the majority of the home and start from scratch. A tedious reshuffle to the home’s layout gave Baldwin & Bagnall the opportunity... More

Pickford Street Residence

Originally designed by the renowned, late architect, Wayne Gillespie, the Pickford Residence has undergone a seamless extension by architectural practice Watson Young Architects. Built by Bloom Projects, this residence perfectly blends its original features with contemporary details, creating a fresh and luxurious family home. Framed around an incredible courtyard space, this U-shaped home enables a real sense of connectedness, whilst also offering a whole lot of space for the kids to play and the parents to relax. With interiors by Lisa Buxton Interiors, each room beautifully considers the details from the buildings past, such as the use of the classic Gillespie brass. We love the way this beautiful material palette pairs so flawlessly wi... More

Adela Apartments

The project came about with the development of a large residential block close to the Elwood foreshore and Port Philip Bay. The brief simply requested a spacious apartment product that was cutting edge and contemporary, but subtle both inside and out. The concept of a large apartment resulted in six single level dwellings, each with the proportions of a small house. The apartments are low maintenance, functionally adaptable to appeal to a range of potential residents, and highly sustainable. Externally, rather than go for a standard “stacked wedding cake” form, the building was set back significantly from the adjoining properties on the lower levels. This allowed the main volume of the building to have vertical sides and reduce... More
