Kingsbury Commons at Pease Park

Known as Austin’s first park, this 84-acre public green space has a rich history spanning from ancestral native civilizations to the city’s founding mothers and fathers; its popularity endures with Austinites today. The first phase of the park’s rehabilitation, preservation, and enhancement, completed in collaboration with Ten Eyck Landscape Architects and Mell Lawrence Architects, affects the park’s southernmost tip, affectionately referred to as its “recreational heart and cultural soul” and is the first phase to be implemented from the Master Plan. A new concept by ODA envisions a new typography of inner courtyards that break up a typical NYC block and expands the public realm ODA’s new concept for urban renewal in New York City blends existing infrastructure with a proposed new zoning regulation that would maximize the public realm and increase green spaces in our city. Coronavirus has only heightened the need and demand for a greener urban existence. Hakunila master plan

At the request of the City of Vantaa our competition winner of Housing reform 2018 “Lähiäsinfonia” / “Suburban Symphony” has been further developed in this spacial plan. The Hakunila City Center II spacial plan is based on public transport, especially the planned Vantaa tram, a functional and attractive network for pedestrians and cyclists, as well as diverse blue and green surroundings. A strategy that we defined “forest-urbanism”. Existing recreational areas have been preserved as much as possible, and a special attention is paid to stormwater management. Nomad Concept is a design office that specialises in architectural sails and shade technology and has meanwhile developed into the benchmark for tensile structures and architectural sails. Both at home and abroad, Nomad Concept built up a solid reputation with its ultralight, translucent sails, inspired by Tibetan nomadic tents. Here we give some examples of sails covering public spaces in parks or squares. Antalya Konyaalti Coastline Urban Rehabilitation

The first phase of the Antalya Konyaalti coastline rehabilitation project, which covers an area of approximately 100 hectares has been opened to the public on 15th of June, 2018. This area was the subject of a national architectural competition opened in 2014 and Ozer\Urger Architects’ proposal was the winning design to be implemented in collaboration with Tugay Architects.The Mediterranean Avenue was the first executed phase of the Antalya Konyaalti coastline rehabilitation project that also includes the Museum Square and Variant, Beachpark and Olbia Square as four different characteristic areas.The main drive of the project was to reduce the domination of the highway dividing the coast and settlement behind it.
