With the opening of the Danbury, CT location, Shake Shack is ready to show the world its Next Gen restaurant design. Located in a small spot in front of the Pyramid of Cholula's archaeological site, we designed this lunch spot (which was originally  meant to be a juice bar) with two young chefs who had previously worked in important local spots and were now ready to undertake their own personal project. A disused train station is transformed into a hotel with restaurant and an events space. Colorful glass lamps shimmer like a tropical underwater world around the restaurant Pasta Maria, an Italian bistro, located in the heart of Potsdamer Platz, in the middle of Berlin. © Thomas Heimann   The lamps were developed together with a glassblower. The result is a spherical shape formed by two colored layers, so that each piece has a unique iridescent shine. The architects also designed the steel tables and stools specifically for the restaurant.
